Disney Springs is an outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment complex spanning 120 acres within the Walt Disney World Resort. Since its opening on March 22, 1975, the complex has been expanded and renamed multiple times until 2015 when the name was officially changed. Disney Springs is comprised of four distinct areas; The Landing, Marketplace, West Side, and Town Center. The Marketplace offers many shops and restaurants adopting the American Craftsman style of the 1930s. The Landing houses the fictional town’s marina and transportation hub, featuring nautical themed restaurants and shops.
