Orlando Exploria Stadium Experiential Virtual Tour
Explore Orlando Exploria Stadium
Exploria Stadium opened on February 24, 2017 as a soccer specific stadium in downtown Orlando, Florida. The stadium is home to the Orlando City Soccer Club which entered Major League soccer in 2015 and their sister club, the Orlando Pride. With a goal to host the 2017 NCAA Women’s College Soccer Championship, Exploria stadium held Orlando City’s home opener of the 2017 season on March 5.
Orlando City SC’s owners announced that the project would be privately funded by Orlando City SC and not the city. Part of the funding venture has come from 30 foreign investors as part of the EB-5 investment program. Overall the project created around 1000 jobs and is expected to create more, bringing an area that much needed economic growth.
Exploria stadium has also been a host venue for both the United States men’s and women’s national teams, along with the finals for both the NWSL Championship and NCAA Women’s College Cup, numerous Florida Cup games and the MLS Combine in 2018 and 2019.
